Challenge Accepted Logo

There’s no princess to save, but maybe one will show up after you finish your laundry.

Challenge Accepted is a web-based app that turns your to-do list into a quest log, and turns you into a bold adventurer. Earn experience points for your real-life adventures by treating them like quests in your favorite role-playing games. Are you ready to join the battle?

Challenge Accepted uses HTML5 and CSS3

These things don't display for magical beans on older browsers or Internet Explorer. We recommend Google Chrome, a fully updated Firefox or even Safari for the full experience.

Known Issues

Challenge Accepted is a work in progress. Here's some issues with the site that we're aware of, and working to fix. If you've noticed a problem but you don't see it listed here, let us know!

Want to know what's been modified? Check out our changelog.

  • Browser Incompatibility: Some browsers have a bit of a problem with the CSS we use to make the site look like it does. If possible, try upgrading to the newest version of whatever browser you're using. (For the record, we highly recommend viewing the site using Google Chrome.)
  • Level Bug: Occasionally you will see the “You have Levelled Up!” banner despite not yet having gained enough EXP to level up for real. This happens when you EXACTLY hit the target EXP to level up, and then do another quest. We're working on it.
  • Task Creation Duplication: Double-clicking on the “add task” button can occasionally result in a task being created twice.
  • No support for non-ASCII characters: This is a feature that we want to add in the future!
  • No notification when someone adds you to a party: Right now, the party system doesn't have any social functionality: they're more like lists that are locked to a single user. We are working on changing that. Stay tuned...
  • Blog Login: says incorrect password even though you haven't entered anything.
Current Workaroud: ignore it, enter your credentials, never see it again.
  • There's a weird smell in the Hero's Handbook.
  • Not nearly enough unicorns.
  • Not 3D enough. :(
